A Vision Trip is not what we've come to know as far as mission trips. Vision trips are "immersion experiences” where you will get to know the beautiful and kind people of Rwanda. We’ll learn more about how we can empower Rwandans to create a bright future for themselves and their children.
The next vision trip to Rwanda June 2017. We will be traveling with Rwanda Children, a faith-based nonprofit that provides housing,food, family and hope to at-risk Rwandan children in the name of Jesus. Our friend and Executive Director of Rwanda Children, Vann Conwell, will be leading the trip.
The biggest expense in making the trip to Rwanda will be airfare which, leaving from Birmingham, we are estimating the cost to be about $1,700. Additional trip expenses (lodging, food, vehicle rental, fuel, etc.) will be $800. Airfare will need to be purchased in April.
Each person will be responsible for the trip cost of $2,500 and we encourage letter writing and using social media as a platform to help raise the funds. We have uploaded a Sample Letter you can use for reference when writing your letter.
