Summer Small Groups
June 19th to August 21st
Men’s Small Group
Wednesdays, 6pm to 7:30pm
Curriculum: Kingdom Man by Tony Evans & The Bible
Kingdom Man challenges and equips men to fully understand their position under God as well as their position over what God has given them. It provides concepts men can follow that will help them to actively pursue ways to maximize and develop the character qualities of biblical manhood in their lives.
Women’s Small Group
Wednesdays, 5:30pm to 7pm
Curriculum: Words: Life and Death by Robert Morris & The Bible
Words carry enormous power-the power to heal or wound, encourage or discourage, speak truth or deceive, praise or criticize. In fact, the Bible says that death and life are in the power of the tongue. Since this is true, we all definitely need to learn how to control our tongues.
Multiethnic Conversations Small Group
Curriculum: Multiethnic Conversations by M. Deymaz & O. Okuwobi & The Bible
Multiethnic Conversations will help transform the minds, attitudes, and actions of people in your local church, and lead them to embrace one another in the midst of cultural change. This workbook is a Christ-centered, biblically accurate guide that facilitates authentic personal exploration and small group discussion of race, class, and culture. This book brings diverse people together beyond the distinctions of this world that so often and otherwise divide. It all begins with conversation.
Seniors’ Small Group
Tuesdays Times: 6:30pm to 8pm
Curriculum: Bible; The Gospel of John
The Gospel of John is filled with profound truths and rich spiritual stories. Walk through the fourth gospel account, passage by passage, so that you can better understand everything from its unique and urgent tone to the ways the apostle John makes his case for Christ’s sovereignty and victory. Every miracle, teaching, and action of Jesus that his disciple John captures in his Gospel has one clear purpose: to prove that Jesus is the Word, the Messiah, and the Son of God.
