Members of the early church were on a mission to spread the good news about Jesus to the ends of the earth. They were willing to do whatever it took to help move that mission forward. Sometimes that meant doing seemingly mundane tasks.  However, they recognized it was about more than just tasks to complete.  They knew they were a part of something much bigger, with much more at stake.  So they engaged in the mission by serving strategically in the areas of greatest need.
